Our farm is certified organic, raising eggs, chickens, garlic, herbs, and vegetables. Our All Natural Certified Organic Ingredients are 100% wheat free! Our dog & cat treats never contain meat, salt, sugar, corn or soy or genetically modified ingredients. Several treats, formulated for pets with allergies, contain no dairy or eggs.

Organic Farmer and "dog chef" Jude Major makes 13 varieties of dog treats, pup-cakes,doggie biscotti and cat treats, using produce from the farm. Certified organic grains are purchased from Speerville Mill in New Brunswick.

We have been making dog and cat treats and foods for over 20 years. All recipes have been taste-tested by Katie and her dog and cat friends.

Katie is a small, sleek black dog, with sparkly eyes and a keen sense of humor. She supervises the farm, and oversees all activities. In return for her hard work, we named the farm for her.

In business since 2002, the dog bakery has garnered a loyal following, with customers coming to the Halifax Farmer's Market year round for their treats, biscuits, and pup-cakes.

The Dog Bakery is now closed. Dog Chef Jude Major is hanging up the apron. After 10 years in the Bakery it was time for a change. Many many thanks to all our great customers and dog friends! You all helped make this business a big success.

Our Certified Organic farm will continue, as we will still be growing lots of veggies and enjoying the company of the hens.
